Mayor Hafen is Tessa Stewart's Dad so we shave a little bit of an in with him. Kate was so excited to find out that she had been to the mayor house. She was sure this made her famous. It thought it was so funny so I texted Tessa and told her the story. She responded by asking me if we would like the mayor to visit Kate's class. Heck yea! I need some leverage in that school. I think bringing the mayor might give me a little right? Mayor Hafen came and visited the whole second grade class. Kate got special treatment. He even said hello to her personally. I got to go as well as Papa. Kate was so excited to feel special. To this day the kids still ask Kate if the Mayor is her Grandpa. If I was her I would just say yes!
