We spent the second half of our trip in San Diego. We went to the cove one day to see the seals. I think every other tourist in Sn Diego was their too. We had to park so far away the kids could not walk a step further. So Papa to the rescue!
MJ, Anna, and Jackson
Sarah tried to get in on our vacation too. Jackson thought she was the coolest.
We went to a Padres game and sat in the sand box section. It was so fun. Matt even took the time to teach Ryan all the rules of baseball. Including cheering.
Kate forgot her belt and gave everyone on the sandbox a show. Good thing she has her Mom's backside.
Ryan loved sitting up at the fence watching the game. He is really into watching sports with his dad lately. Everything is a touchdown to him.
I flew to Vegas with the kids alone while Mike worked and we spent time with the Stewarts. Dan and Mary used their timeshare points to get us a sweet hotel called Tahiti Village. Ryan took his naps down on the lounge chairs they were so comfortable.
There was an awesome lazy river that had water falls. Kate and Jackson loved ever minute of it.
Ryan was a little nervous but Papa helped him keep it together.
Happy kids
Ali and Hannah looking hot as ever in there swimsuits.
The pool was shaped like a four leaf clover and the stem was beach entry. The kids loved it. Even Grandma Mary got in on the action. She was playing mermaid with Kate and practicing her swimming skills. (Kate's not Grandma's)
I don't think Kate ever left the water. She is my little fish.
While we were all together we had a birthday party for all the August and September Birthdays. Birthday puzzles from Grandma. Kate could not go home empty handed.
What a good uncle keeping all 5 grandkids under control. Wait I think he might have lost Ryan.
Best cousins!
Jackson had a train cake and Ryan could not keep his fork away from it.
Hannah was so happy to have her cake covered in Dora.
My sister in law MJ is an amazing cake maker. She made individual cakes for all 4 birthdays.
