Talk with Kate

Sometimes I think Kate might be a 16 year old in a three year olds body. I was taking her to school the other morning and we had this conversation...

Kate: Mom how old are you?

Mom: 26

Kate: When I am 26 can you buy me a wedding dress so I can get married like you.

Mom: Well, you are going to have to find a boy to marry you first.

Kate: Where did you find Dad at?

Mom: College. I think you need to be friends with boys for a really long time before you marry them so you can make sure they are nice boys.

Kate: I met ______ at church and we are friends he is a really nice boy, when can I marry him.

Mom: When you are 30.

I get really worried about this girl sometimes. She is growing up way to fast. She knows way to much for a 3 year old. Maybe its because she is always hanging out with Sarah and Kelly. Good thing her dad is going to take over during the teenage years because I don't think I will be able to handle her.
