Our family took a weekend trip to Las Vegas so that Mike could meet with a few people and see what the housing situation was like while we were there. Everything is now looking good. SO............We are moving back to the home land. Las Vegas here we come. Mike has come upon a new opportunity that we are all very excited about. It will be nice to be back in a home of our own for a while. I am going to miss being with my family but this year has been a dream come true for me to be back home. The good news is that I will only be 4 1/2 hours away instead of 12. Easy drive for me and the kids. Kate is really excited to get all of her toys out of storage and Mike and I are excited to get our own space back.
While we were there we celebrated both the kids birthdays. MJ made two more awesome cakes. The kids went crazy for them. Ryan got a Thomas the train and Kate got a Barbie doll.
The flu bug must have been going around Vegas because both kids got sick. Kate threw up right before this picture was taken. I captured the moment but Mike did not think it was appropriate for me to document it. Kate got a Barbie with a working potty. She was pretty excited about it.

Ryan got a fire truck with Legos. He would play for a minute then go back to laying on the floor sick.
Kate might not have been up to eating cake, but she was more than willing to blow out the candles.
I have never seen Ryan so excited about a cake. He would not leave that thing along. He cried if I would not let him sit next to it. he was not going to let the flu take away his cake eating opportunity.
I love this picture because she is trying so hard to look happy but she feels so horrible. Poor kids rough few days to be sick. It was so nice to have two other mothers around to clean up all the puck and do the laundry. Thank you so much for all your dirty work. I got the flu the day we got home and Mike got it the next day. It was a nasty little 24 hour bug.
