Kate is 4

When kate woke upon her birthday she was so excited. It was the first time we did not have to remind her her. I said wow there is somthing different about you Kate. She said I am four look how big I am, I can jump as high as a four year old. She was so excited to be old. Kate has wanted her very own bike for a really long time and a 4th birthday is a great time to get one. Mike bought it and built it down at the shop and surprised her before we went to dinner that night.

Sarah rang the doorbell and when Kate opened it her princess bike was looking back at her. We were expecting screams and yells, but I think she was in shock because she said nothing.

She figured it out pretty quick and got really excited.

She did really well on her first attempt. She has only had a few spills since.

We had dinner at Pat and Oscars thanks to our chili cook-off win. It was yummy and Grandma and Grandpa Pulsipher met us there.

Then we went to Boomers with the rest of our winnings and Kate got a wrist band because it was her birthday. So it turned out to be the freest birthday party we ever threw.

The one thing Kate wanted to do was the rock wall. She just made the weight limit and was so excited she started to climb without the safety harness. She made it so much farther than I thought she would.

She was a little light so it was hard for her to stay on the wall but, Sarah was there to guide her. Good job Kate you are so brave.

Miniature golfing was next on the list. It was so fun to do it as a family and both kids really enjoyed it.

Ryan is the next big golf pro.

Kate was even tall enough to do the go carts. She was so excited. She choose to ride with her Dad because he is the most experienced driver.

When she got off her hair was wind blown but she had a big smile on her face. I would say that her 4th birthday was a success.
