Molly took her first steps the day after her birthday. She was on the move after that. She was climbing and getting into more trouble than ever before. One week later she was climbing on the couch in the playroom and stepped over and fell off the couch. I was not in the room but I heard her scream and knew something was wrong. I ran in to find her standing against the wall unable to move. I picked her up and held her. She would not let me touch her leg or foot. I knew something was wrong but could not tell where. She took a nap. And woke up still very upset. She would not put any pressure on her leg. I told Mike I thought it might be broken. He called some friends and got us an appointment a few days later at the children's bone and spine center. As you can tell it has a slight fracture. So Molly got her first cast at 1 year and 1 week old. This was the first broken bone for our family. Luckily she only had it for 4 weeks. I have never seen a cast look cuter.
