It has been 3 years since we have been to the ranch. It has been to long. This place is amazing. The setting is unreal. It is so nice to be forced to get rid of cell phones, TV, Facebook, Emails, and the Internet. It makes you look at life more simply again. We are so grateful we have this magical place to bring our kids.
Kate said she never wanted to leave until, she saw the bugs down at the lake.
Mike attempted fishing quite a few times with no luck. Mike and Tanner resorted to shooting them at one point. That didn't work either.
I thought everyone loved the ranch but Brynn proved me wrong. She slept more than she has ever slept. She was getting all 4 eye teeth and really did not eat much the entire week.
One of my favorite brothers meet us at the ranch. I was so glad he came. He gave Mike a buddy to goof around with. That's what Tanner and Mike do the best. He is also really good with kids and everyone loved having him.
One of my favorite parts of the ranch is all the cool places to take pictures. So I did a lot of practicing.
Hannah and Alayna were so kind to let me practice on them too. They are such cute girls it was so fun to spend so much time with them.
Kate feel in love with the horses.
Cousin love! They got along for the most part. We only had a few rough moments.
Brynn was the only one who would pose for me. The other kids are so over my aspirations to become a photographer.
Thanks to Tanner I made it into a few pictures.
Brynn and Papa became best buddies this trip. She even went to him from me. That's huge.
Ryan was a horse whisperer as well.
Brynn has a new love for Horses. She was always looking out the window for them. Last time I was around horses I had a bad allergic reaction. So this time I was going to stay away. But I just could not resist a ride. Uncle Brent took MJ, Alli and I out to herd some cattle early one morning. It was so fun. The girls herded 3 cattle to Brent's 50+. But I am sure he was grateful for our company at least. So glad I went. I think cowgirl life would suit me at least for a summer.
The kids decided to take a dip in the creek in the buff.
Brynn never made it past her feet.
Naked kids! Kate found a snake in the grass Tanner picked it up of course and the kids were fascinated. I could not believe that they all touched it.
Brynn tried to feed the horses as well. Looking at the picture after the fact I realize her hands are much to close to that horses teeth.
Kate enjoyed getting nuzzled by the horse.
A canoe ride what didn't we do?
After Jackson's canoe ride he decided he was ready to jump into the icy lake. After his feet went in he chickened out.
His mom talked him into doing it anyway. He was so brave. It was really cold. Hannah got dipped in after him. I can't believe the guts on these kids.
My kids watched safely from the side by side.
One night after the kids went to bed Mike and I took the side by side up a trail through the forest in the dark. It was so fun. We made it to the top of the mountain over looking the ranch. We went up in the suburban a few days later with the rest of the crew.
It was our 7 year engagement anniversary. So we reenacted it for everyone. It was a beautiful sight.
Seven years and three kids later and still in love.
By the end of the week this is how we all felt. Ready to go home. Hopefully we will be back in the near future. Crow Creek thanks for the memory's.

Kristi, I just caught up on your blog and enjoyed it so much. What a darling family you have and such good parents you are to give them so many good memories. Loved the pix of the ranch, what a wonderful place and I didn't know you rode horses, fun, huh.
