Winter Quarters

We made a stop at Winter Quarters in Omaha. It is right next to the Omaha Temple. (So Pretty) It was really interesting to hear the stories and see the maps, pictures, and artifacts. I feel so lucky that I did not have to pull my family and possessions in a hand cart across the country. It must have taken so much faith. What an honorable heritage to come from.

Don't we look authentic?

They had a gingerbread display in the basement. People from different wards in Omaha built different ginger bread houses. There were some really creative ones.
