Wyoming

Last week we spent some time at Mike's Grandpa's house in Star Valley. It was so nice to be there with Grandma and Grandpa Stewart, Matt, Alli, and Hannah. I made the 12 hour drive in one day with my 2 kids and Grandma Mary. It could have been so much worse. Kate was awesome. Every time she asked me how long till we get to the ranch I would say when it gets dark. So she watched the sun all day "it almost dark mom." She was so good I can't even believe it. Ryan was OK he got a new big boy car seat and like the bad mom that I am I let him face forward for the drive. He likes it better but he was not happy being trapped in there for 12 hours. When it was my turn to drive while Grandma took a nap I moved the rear view mirror so I could see him and we played a long game of pic-a-boo. It was the first time that he held the blanket up in front of his face and pulled it down. It was so cute.

Once we got there the weather was hot, but there was a nice pool to play in. Kate loved it because it was 3 feet deep in half of the pool so she could touch and play with the older kids without having to stay on the step.
I do have to confess that I ate a Huckleberry shake everyday and loved each and everyone of them. Good shakes are hard to come by in Reno. Mike flew in to Idaho Falls on Tuesday night. The kids really miss him when he is away. I guess I do to. It was nice to have our family back together again.

Mike, Matt, and Dan were able to play golf a few times and the 4Th green is in the back yard so we were able to witness their golfing skills. Mike is amazing, but Matt could use some practice. Love you Matt!

Ryan and Hannah enjoyed eating together as well as bathing together. Hopefully we are not starting any bad habits.

We had a little photo shoot in the back yard. Our kids sure are cute! I love my Camera! Ryan still can pose.

Mike and Ryan out for a cruise on the golf cart.

Marshmellow anyone?

We got to take a day off from parenting and raft down the Snake. Grandma Mary watched all three kids. OUr river guides name was will the trill. He was wearing cut off jean shorts. I thought he might be a never nude. It was a really fun time.
Matt and Alli doing a dirty pose to get pumped up for the ride.

This is me showing Mike how excited and tough I am.
