Our family spent the 4Th of July in Tahoe with Grandma and Grandpa Stewart. We went down to Burnt Cedar Beach and hung out by the pool. It was a tad windy and very crowded. Kate was in the baby pool and we could not even follow her around. There were to many other heads. She had a great time anyway. I think she would stay in the pool all day if I let her. After a few hours we called it quits and headed home. Naps for everyone. We ate dinner at the Hyatt Hotel and and watched the fire works on their beach thanks to a good friend whose name I will not disclose. While we where waiting for the fire works to start (3 hours), we all took turns watching Kate. She played in the sand and went for walks with Grandpa. Her favorite part was dancing with her dad to the awesome music provided by the Hyatt. She laughed and laughed and drew in a crowd as usual. Mike's moves weren't to bad either. Finally after 6 trips to the bathroom for me. (baby is sitting a little low) The fire works started. Kate was a little nervous, she would not even move. I asked her if she liked the show and she would say "no, no" very calmly while gazing into the shy. By the end she was clapping and having a good time. I love fire works but I think I was more exited to see them through her eyes. Overall it was a great weekend.

Yeah this post is pretty good. If only you had some sweet 80's pictures of you and Mike to add...

You guys are such a cute family. Can you please tell Mike to tell Matt how fun it is to have kids?
