Kate's first trip to Disneyland

Last week Kate and I flew down to San Diego to meet my family for a short trip to Disneyland. It was Kate's first time so I was really excited to see her reactions. Our first ride was the new finding Nemo adventure. It took the place of the old submarines. We ran to it when the park opened, along with everyone else. It was the only ride we stood in line for, but it was worth it. Finding Nemo is her favorite movie. She just started out the window with a few faint "Wows". Pirates of the Caribbean is one of my favorite rides, but not really one of Kate's she got kind of scared. She clung to me and whimpered like a little puppy. Her favorite part of the trip was the parades. At California Adventure they have a Pixar parade and all her favorite movie characters came to life Nemo, Bugs Life, Toy Story, Monsters Inc. No one sat by us at the parade so all the characters were able to come up to her and she loved it. She tried to go out in the middle and dance with everyone. It was definitely a good time. I will take her back, but next time with her dad of course so he can enjoy it as well.
