Mike and I had the privilege of going to Costa Rica with his company. He earned the trip as an awesome producer. We were pretty excited for this trip. It has been so long since we have had a break from our kids. I mean a week with no kids what are we going to do? We went with 5 other couples. and stayed at a bed and breakfast. The only people staying there was our group. It was on the beach with a pool. It was so cool. We had a small room with an outdoor shower. There were monkeys howling outside our window every morning. We went snorkeling, which was a nightmare. The boat broke down, it was really choppy water, and I got sick. We went to a place in the Jungle which had zip lining, a water slide, horseback riding, and a mineral spa. It was an adventure for sure. Our bus broke down (common theme this trip) they sent a tractor to pick us up. In the end none of the bad things mattered. It was an adventure and we loved it. The kids did great. I don't think Molly even missed me. We decided we need more trips like this. It time for Mike and Kristi. The kids are getting old enough these trips are going to happen more often.
