Ryan's preschool class took a field trip to the fire station. We have gone to this one before. This is the fire house that the crew came from for Ryan's accident. Last time I went I balled my eyes out to some guy. This time I was going to hold myself together. I am always staring the guys down trying to remember which ones came to the accident. I am sure they think I am a crazy stalker or something. This time I was able to talk to a few of the guys. Non of them remembered me but they were trying to help me figure out who was there. One guy named Joe is super nice I now see him at Cafe Rio all the time. He talks to Ryan and gives him stickers.
Ryan and Brynn were in rare form this day. They held hands and were so nice to each other. It makes you feel so good as a parent when you see this (rare) behavior. The kids got to go in all trucks and even on the ladder truck. Ryan always gets a little nervous when we go and I wish he would talk to me about it but he is super closed off. I am not sure if he remembers and is scared or if he is just trying to forget all together. We sure do love Lacey and the firemen that helped out sweet boy that day.
Ryan's friends James and Riley are in his preschool class too.
Kate had Field day at school. In Las Vegas field day is all about the water. It is to hot to do regular relays and races. So they all get wet and run around. It was so hot that day, but was Kate was soaked and super cool. I love going to school and watching her interact with her friends. She is such a good girl. Love you Kate!
