Knotts Berry Farm

The kids and I drove down to San Diego to go to Knotts Berry Farm with my family. The trip down was a nightmare. It was dark, raining, and windy. Bad choice on my part. Brynn was very upset. We had to stop multiple times to calm her down. I finally just said I need to drive and get there before it gets to late. I said a quick prayer in hopes that she would fall asleep just as we were going down the grade. Right before the prayer I thought about President Monson's talk about praying for the 5 dollars in his pocket. And the other guy who said he prayed to find a quarter on the street to buy some fried chicken. I thought that if Heavenly Father could bless them with a quarter and five dollars. He could get Brynn to fall asleep. As soon as my prayer was finished she was sound asleep. And stayed asleep for the rest of the trip. It was what I call a miracle. I know my Heavenly Father heard my small and simple plea for help that night.
We were the first car into the parking lot and the first people in the park. Go Griswolds!
Can you see us on the front row of this coaster. First ride of the day, first in line. I have not been on a real roller coaster since high school. It was awesome.
Kate went on her first roller coaster and loved it. It was really fast and I thought she was going to hate it. But she screamed the entire time. And wanted to go again and again. You go girl!
I sure love Tanner. He is a great uncle and my kids love him.
We went to the wild west stunt show and Ryan had me cover his ears and then he covered his ears too, the entire show. His ears are a little sensitive these days.
I sure do love my Mom and Dad. They really are wonderful people. And my kids also love them. On the way to San Diego we always stop at the train McDonalds for dinner and the kids love it. But this time Ryan said, "No, I will eat dinner at Bompa's house keep driving."
The walk of shame- Kate tried to sneak onto the Raging Rapids ride but they would not let her get on. Good thing Tanner was there to console her.

I love this picture. He will be a great dad one day.
Ryan loves his trucks and fast cars. We rode this ride 100 times.
Don't forget Brynn she got to ride too.
They loved every minute.

Sarah is Kate's best friend and went on all the kid rides with her. Even though she is a teenager now. I hope she still has time for Kate in a few years. Love you Sarah.
I don't know how we did it but we made it though the whole day without any tears. We sure did miss our Dad who was at home on retreat for work.
Love you Dad!
Good trip home. Until next time San Diego........
