Wyoming

We went to Wyoming for 2 weeks at the end of December. It was a much needed vacation. Mike's grandparents (who have passed on) own a home in Star Valley so it made it nice to have a cozy house that we could all fit in. We went with Grandma and Grandpa Stewart, Daniel, MJ, Jackson, and Anna. It was a full house but made it so much more fun. Now for a whole lot of pictures.

Everyone needs a family picture in front of the RoDoMa Park sign. It stands for Ro-Robert Do-Doug Ma-Mary the three Henry children. It has been there for a really long time. Hanging on the sign is a pair of Daniel's boots that would fit Ryan.
24 weeks prego
Kate and Jackson doing a cool picture. Right after I took it Daniel told her to jump and she did. She also face planted right in the snow.
Kate had a blast sledding she had a few spills but I think she ended the trip still liking it. Which is always a good sign.
We were to lazy to walk up the sled hills so we rented a snowmobile. It was so much fun I had never been on one before. Mike took me for a moonlit cruise around the golf course. We only caught air once. He tried really hard to be careful in my delicate condition.
Kate has been practicing her snow angles for months and I think all that practice payed off.
I was worried about how Ryan would do in the cold snow but he was a trouper. His only problem was that he liked to wonder out into deep snow and get stuck.
My little snow bunny
The view from our sledding hill was amazing.
Family toboggan ride. We had weight on our side it it definitely worked t our advantage.
Ryan was a little dare devil on the sled he would jump in by himself and go down.
Handsome boy
Happy 27th birthday to me. For my birthday I made myself 7 layer dip and Chex Mix. It was more than I could ask for. Everyone threw me a swell party with gifts and a chex mix cake.
The kids got homemade Christmas blankets and pillow cases from Grandma Mary, Pillow pets from Aunt MJ. Kate has been begging me for one for months lets just say it was a hit. And I made all the kids christmas PJ's.
Grandpa read all the kids the night before christmas. We even heard sleigh bells out the window. The kids jumped up and ran to bed. The did not even want to brush their teeth or potty because Santa might see them awake and leave. O how I love Christmas.
Ryan loves his daddy!
Kate and Jackson made Santa mint chocolate covered oreos. I think the were a hit with Santa's elves too.
The kids on Christmas morning waking up Mom and Dad. They were ready for the presents.
Lets just say Santa did not forget about these kids this year. They all made out big time.
Ryan would have been happy with one present. He just kept wanting play with the first present and forget about the rest.
Kate has been wanting new Barbie clothes for a while. She got a new Ariel doll, a leapster, barbies and a Ken that looks like Justin beiber.
One day we drove to Jackson Hole and took a sleigh ride out onto the elk preserve. It had the potential to be a magical event. If it was not for the bone chilling wind. Kate was very excited that out horses name was Bell.
After the ride was over the kids were so happy to be getting back in the bus.
I know we look cute, but it was really really cold!
Anna screamed pretty much the whole time. It didn't bother me but there were other on our sleigh. Hopefully they understood.
It was so nice to have Mike around for 2 weeks straight no work. His kids really love to be with with him and I guess I do too. It was a great trip and I am sure we will make the long drive again very soon.
