The Ward Pinewood Derby

A few weekends ago we had our first annual ward pinewood derby. Mike was so excited to build a car. He says his family has a history of wins. He put off building his car until a few days before the big race. He was in such a run the night of the race that he super glued his wheels together. So at the last minute I had to run to Michaels to pick up a new set. We made it to the race right on time. Our car was the last to race and we had some stiff competition including my dad and an old friend. By a miracle we won the race. We were so excited. Better luck next year Grossmont Ward.
