5K

I may not be a runner like my mom and my sisters, but I was pretty proud of myself running a 5K today. I pushed both kids in the double stroller and finished in 34 minutes. It was so much fun, there where girls there from my ward and my friend Lindsey from the lake. Lindsey and I pushed each other the whole way. OK, so it was mostly her pushing me, but I convinced her to sprint to the finish. I was worried about how the kids would do because usually when we go out running Kate wants to walk so she can get skinny and Ryan cries the whole time, but no one shed a tear. Kate was yelling the whole time, "Get to the finish line Mom." She was my sole motivation and being able to brag to Mike about it when I got home. He can't believe how athletic his wife is. I can't wait to do it again. So fun! We go girls.
