Yesterday morning I noticed that my wedding ring was missing from the night stand where I had left it. I did not panic because I thought it must have just fell into a basket or something. Later that after noon I went looking for it with no luck. I remembered that Kate was playing with other things on my night stand the day before. She was also playing out side a lot the day before. So I though I would ask her if she had seen my ring. She said," Yes mom, I took it outside." Then I started to worry because most of my kitchen utensils are already outside, she uses them to dig with. Could she have buried my ring? So I asked her to take me to where she took it. Which happened to be on the side of the house covered in dirt. Where she often digs. So I started to move the dirt around getting more worried by the minute. Still no ring! So I asked her again and this time she took me to another part of the yard. So, I dug some more. Need less to say I dug for 4 hours. Still no ring. I was starting to get very angry with her. So as a last resort I called around to find a metal detector. Mike decided to rent one for 45 dollars. That is a lot of money but not if my wedding ring is at stake. He brought it home and tried to get it to work in our favor. Still not luck.

He got down in the dirt and dug too. No luck.

So he decide to go in the house and retrace my steps.

I was laying on the floor playing with Ryan while Mike was looking when I saw a sparkle under the TV cabinet. IT WAS MY RING! I was so excited I screamed. All that digging for nothing. My daughter is a lier. She did take it, but not out side not even out of my room. After 45 dollars and many hours of digging I have my ring back. I want to send a shout out to my Husband for all of his hard work and putting up with an angry upset wife.

I don't think I've ever seen Angry Kristi. That would be interesting. I'm so glad you found your ring! I was worried about you! It's not very often you get a message on your machine asking if you have a metal detector. That was a first for me! haha!
Talk about a panic attack! Glag you found your ring. just to let you know, this year i signed up for a 1 mile walk- so its nothing to brag about :)
Did you mine any gold in your backyard?? I need some money.
I left a long message on this but it didn't print it so I will have to tell you later--glad you found your ring though. Hope Kate wasn't traumatized by it all...
